Brainley is sitting and writing on a piece of paper with a fountain pen. It is unclear by what mechanism he is holding up the pen, however.

Brainley (in a text box indicating what he is writing): I have invented a truly marvelous device. However, this margin is too narrow to contain it.

He pauses for a second and lifts the pen.

Brainley (writing again): But trust me, it's awesome.
