Dobbsey and Brainley are standing in front of a machine labeled "DIALOGUE ABSTRACTOR". They are silent. The machine has a loudspeaker, however, and it is saying things. The dialogue that comes out of the abstractor is placed over Dobbsey and Brainley, alternately. While they are not saying anything, their expressions are shifting accordingly.

Machine (D): Polite curiosity.

Machine (B): Bombastic announcement!

Machine (D): Request for clarification.

Machine (B): Ridiculous explanation.

Machine (D): ...befuddlement and/or slight terror.

Machine (B): Surreal punchline.
