Brainley and Dobbsey are standing behind a old-looking pistol.
Dobbsey: Nice pistol. Where's it from?
Brainley: This is a gun once owned by famed Russian playwright Anton Chekhov. Legend says that once shown, it will inevitably go off.
Brainley: I bought it on eBay.
Dobbsey stares at the gun.
Dobbsey: Um, Professor, I hate to break it to you, but Chekhov's gun is just a literary device.
Brainley: Silence! The gun is deliberating.
